Tag Watches Isabel Marant Bobby Suede Sneakers In Lilas Loves Leo Dicaprio (and They're Not The Only Ones!)

I have always adored Leo Dicaprio. Ever since he stood at the prow of the Titanic and yelled "I'm the king of the world!", ever since he gave Kate Winslet (a.k.a. Rose DeWitt Bukater) the "door" to float on, even though he knew he would drown in the icy waters, I've been hooked. What a guy! I know this was just his Isabel Marant Brian Wedge Sneakers In Black character in a movie, but it was the movie that put Leo on the map. The timeless romance of that film made a real impression on me, as well as many other women my age, and we all love that part when she jumps off the lifeboat and certain safety to brave the icy waters by his side. I'd jump off any vehicle for him, that's for sure. When I heard Leo was the new spokesperson, or "brand ambassador", for TAG watches, I looked forward to seeing his face on billboards and in my favorite periodicals. If they did a Isabel Marant Bobby Suede Sneakers In Lilas commercial, I might just melt. But knowing about Leonardo Dicaprio's involvement in environmental and ecological issues, and his usual resistance to back purely commercial ventures, I figured he must be using this spotlight as a way to push for support of support of these initiatives. Well, I was right! He is using the royalties from his ambassadorship for TAG watches, not for profit, but to further his favorite cause: reducing the effects that humans are having on the planet. Not only does Dicaprio plan on donating all of his royalties from the TAG watches contract, he is also adding millions of his own money to the pot. Now, before you think this is just another celeb looking for a photo-op, Leo doesn't just talk the talk, he walks the walk, too. He drives a hybrid, (a Toyota Prius, just like mine!) heats and cools his home with solar power, flies on commercial planes, and also co-produced / co-wrote "The 11th Hour" documentary about the world's fragile ecosystem. He's been donating to funds across the world, and is involved in trying to get more nations to sign onto the emissions-regulating Kyoto Treaty.Hey, maybe it's time for TAG watches to roll-out a line of solar watches! If they do, look for Leo to be their chief promoter. I'd buy that in a wind-powered minute: something supported by Leo, powered by the sun, and made by a watch company that makes smashing timepieces!
